L146-007 – L146 – Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program

***ATTENTION: Enrollment priority for this delivery of L146 is being given to individuals who are attending the entire Basic Academy series. Others will only be approved to attend on a space available basis.***

Course Description:

This is an elective course for the FEMA Advanced Professional Series (APS) program. This course introduces the Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program (HSEEP), a capabilities and performance-based exercise program that provides a standardized policy, methodology, and language for designing, developing, conducting and evaluating all exercises. HSEEP also facilitates the creation of self-sustaining, capabilities-based exercise programs by providing tools and resources such as policy and guidance, training, technology and direct support.

Target Audience:

First Responders, Emergency Management staff; Local, County, Tribal and State Government Units; Fire, Law Enforcement, EMS, and Hospital providers; School Staff and Administrators; Volunteer Agencies active in disaster or exercise.
