Emergency plans may be called different names such as an Emergency Preparedness Plan\, Emergency Operations Plan (EOP)\, or Emergency Response Plan (ERP). However\, they share core objectives and should detail how the facility implements the emergency management principles of mitigation\, preparedness\, response and recovery and the personnel\, authorities and other details of program administration. \nHealthcare system planners must ensure their plans account for the current and changing landscape of requirements\, regulations\, threats\, and hazards. Complying with standards and following the plans will help healthcare entities reliably respond to and recover from disasters\, as well as work cohesively and effectively with emergency management partners. \nThis training will include an overview of key Emergency Preparedness Plan and EOP considerations as they align with Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS) licensure requirements and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Emergency Preparedness Rule requirements.[/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][/vc_tta_accordion][/vc_column][/vc_row]

SUMMARY:170 - Introduction to Hazard Vulnerability Analysis
DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=””]This course will teach participants how to conduct their own Hazard Vulnerability Analysis (HVA) and why it is important to their emergency preparedness programs. It will go over a commonly used HVA tool that includes a systematic approach to analyzing hazards that may affect demand for hospital services\, or a facility’s ability to provide those services\, helping to prioritize planning\, mitigation\, response\, and recovery activities. This HVA approach will incorporate historic data on actual activations to more fully inform risk analysis. \nTo register for this training click here. \nAfter registering\, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting. \nPLEASE NOTE: \n\nRegistration closes at noon the day prior to the training.\nAttendees must be present for at least 75% of the training to receive credit and a participation certificate.\n\n[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_btn title=”Register” style=”3d” color=”juicy-pink” css=”” link=”url:https%3A%2F%2Fus06web.zoom.us%2Fmeeting%2Fregister%2FlWlS6sRfRSSukX_Itkx7bw|target:_blank”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
